AWG is the perfect lookup app for the industry standard American Wire Gauge. This app contains the most important information you require for solid and stranded wire. A standout feature of this app is that it easily allows you to determine the diameter of solid core as well as the bundle diameter of stranded wire. This is an important point as the bundle diameter of stranded wire is always larger than that of the same AWG solid wire (hence altering the maximum current carrying capability of the wire).
